Once you've decided on a day for your Griha Pravesh Muhurat, it's time to start planning your Griha Pravesh Pooja.

1. Primary necessities for the Ceremony

First and foremost, move into your house only when the master fixtures, such as doors and windows, the wall paint, and all essential electrical fittings are in place. It is recommended that you sleep in your new house with your family on the night of the puja day, hence you will need the basic equipment.

2.Clean your Home

To welcome positivity and abundance into your new home, it is important to consistently keep it clean. It is well known that neatness attracts Goddess Lakshmi. So, properly clean the house before the Griha Pravesh puja. Clean the floor with salt water to cleanse all bad energy. Sea salt added to house cleaning water is believed to cleanse the house of negative energy. Make sure all corners of your house have been attended to. Add flowers, rangolis, and diyas to light up the space.

3. Purify the House

With the help of Mango leaves, sprinkle the entire home with Gangajal from a pooja Kalash. This act is believed to rid the home of any negative presence, due to the purifying energy Gangajal holds.
